Does this work with AMD platforms?
Yes. UpgradePath handles both Intel (LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1151) and AMD (AM5, AM4) platforms. Recommendations are gated to your specific socket.
What does "compatible" actually mean here?
A recommendation is compatible if it fits your motherboard socket (for CPUs) or PCIe slot generation (for GPUs), and falls within your power supply headroom.
